UNESCO's ISCED-F 2013 framework groups education and training into broad, narrow and detailed fields. Any.ac uses its 11 broad fields as an orientation map — never as a claim that disciplines have fixed borders.

ISCED-F was made for comparable education statistics. Any.ac adapts it cautiously: to widen a shortlist, expose method differences and identify the questions a programme page should answer.
